The National Beta Club is a nationally renowned organization that recognizes and rewards academic achievement, promotes character, develops leadership skills, and encourages community-service involvement. Their vision is to be a student-centered organization that strives to continually develop and nurture individuals by providing opportunities and experiences that enable them to demonstrate the ideals of character, achievement, service, and leadership in a global community. Membership is reserved for only those Fideles students who are strong leaders of outstanding character in the school and community. Members attend monthly meetings and earn service hours through activities such as volunteering at school functions and in various places in the community. The Beta Club also sponsors Parents’ Nights Out throughout the school year, where parents bring younger children to school on a Friday evening and Beta members entertain them while their parents enjoy a free evening. Donations are accepted and given to a local charity. The Beta Club offers recognition of student academic achievement, while building friendships among members and relationships within the community.
