About Us

Fideles Christian School is a fully accredited, PK-12 academic program in which classes meet two or three days per week at our campus. The remaining two to three days of the week, students work in their homes under the supervision of their parents to complete assignments given them by their teachers.

In many ways you will find Fideles to be very similar to any other traditional college-preparatory school. Our students attend classes instructed and led by qualified teachers, receive assignments from them, and compile a transcript based on an accredited college-preparatory curriculum. At graduation their diploma is equivalent to and confers on them all the rights and privileges of any student in the State of Georgia and nationally under the State University Board of Regents. And, unlike home-schooled students, qualified Fideles graduates are immediately eligible for the Hope Scholarship.

The Fideles Christian School Core Values:

Parental Involvement
The primary reason for a two- or three-day-per-week schedule is to allow parents to have a significant time involvement with their child’s education. Younger students (PK-4) meet for classes only twice per week. Maturing upper school students, though still needing guidance and oversight from their parents, begin to develop their own individual responsibility and social relationships and therefore meet for classes three times per week. Fideles utilizes this schedule because parents ought to take responsibility as their child’s primary educational mentor.

Partnering with Parents
Those parents who believe in and desire to have greater involvement in their child’s education need a qualified partner to ensure a quality, well-rounded educational experience. Fideles brings the talents, gifts, and abilities of qualified Christian teachers, administrators, and staff into partnership with Christian parents to assist them, as members of the family of God, in mentoring and educating their children.

Rigorous, Holistic Education
A college transcript is really only a minimum standard when it comes to a successful education. Students need realistic expectations of what life after high school, as a productive adult, requires. Fideles provides a community of parents and teachers to help mold a successful young adult who will take ownership of his or her own future. Fideles is committed to compassionately but realistically assisting parents in the work of equipping their child to achieve the educational standards and behavioral habits needed for success. This schedule with home-study days allows parents to assist their child to begin to form independent and responsible work habits. Many Fideles graduates say that their transition into college, unlike that of many of their peers, was not as difficult because of what they had learned by attending Fideles.

A Christian World View
Jesus said, “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:14-16). The Board, staff, and administration of Fideles Christian School believes that the purpose of education is to prepare children to shine their “light” before others in a dark world (hence the flame in our logo). Therefore, Fideles teaches all subjects from a Christian world view, recognizing that God is the author of truth, beauty, and morality.

Affordability
By meeting only two or three days per week, Fideles is able to provide an affordable alternative to traditional five-day-per-week private schools. Many Fideles families also take advantage of the Georgia Tax Credit program allowing them to defray some of the tuition costs.

The Fideles Mission

The mission of Fideles Christian School is to partner with parents to provide affordable, academically rigorous, college-preparatory education from a Christian world view so that the students may be prepared to engage and impact their community with excellence.
